TAKE ME OUT to be adapted as TV series

I’m not sure how they’d get away with that much nudity on standard television. Unless by TV they mean HBO or one of the other premium channels.

Given how much of this play’s legacy and reputation relies on lots of male nudity, I can’t see this being made without it. It has HBO or Showtime written all over it, anyway, so that shouldn’t be difficult.

Everything will be shot from the waist up with the occasional butt. Let's be real, there's no way they will keep the same amount of nudity if they are trying to reach a "broader" audience. I also wouldn't be surprised if there is a lot of CGI 'steam' covering the actors bits.

It sounds like a series based on the play, so not the play itself. It’s very timely in terms of race issues in the country at the moment. I assume it won’t take place in the locker room but will expand the characters world and give him a life outside of professional sports.

If I had to guess a cable player for this, it would be Showtime. They're fine with nudity and queer issues, and would be fine with wild behavior. Just look at Shameless.
