With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-
"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-

Actually, I think the red on blue is pretty distinctive and is the only good thing about the new design. At least it shows that they have a basic understanding of how to make a figure stand out.
Otherwise, pretty much as terrible as before. The half-assed titles are still the worst part, but now it's starting to offend me (for lack of a better term) that they are very clearly not willing to pour money into getting a decent shot of Patti. Really, producers? You couldn't shell out a little more for a nicely done studio publicity shot that might actually be integrated well into the poster? With both this shot and the Ravinia shot it was very obvious--and not just to people who knew the original photos--that the images were just photographed in the middle of a performance and were shoehorned into the poster design (with a lot of unconvincing Photoshop shading). Not attractive at all.
The "WOW WOW WOW" ad was the most inspired thing they've done. With all the positive press and increased sales, these ads should be getting better, not worse.
