Netflix’s new documentary series TIGER KING is so wild it would an insane musical. Who would like to see in the imaginary stage adaption?

I’d love to see Danny Burstein as Exotic Joe and Jane Krakowski as Carol Baskin.

Michael Cerveris as Exotic.

Christian Borle as Doc.

Kristen Chenoweth as Carole Baskin.

Patrick Page as Jeff Lowe.

Hmm...Joe Exotic would be a beast of a role to cast. Personally I don't think Michael Cerveris or Danny Burstein are quite right for it.

My pick would be Becca Blackwell - off-beat personality, very funny, but also with a somewhat imposing presence. They even kind of looked the part in their most recent performance in "Is This A Room?"

That's a horrible choice for Carole Baskin. Dee Hoty HANDS DOWN.

What's a "Muscal"* ? Perspiring Minds Want To Know.

As for Tiger King The Musical IMHO there is nothing anyone of us can do to stop an inevitable production in some way, shape or form. Howzabout Shaiman & Whittman to write the score?

* "The muscal is a variety of panpipe consisting of from eight to 24 wooden tubes of varying length, held together in a bow-shaped leather casing. Each tube produces a single whistling sound, the pitch of which depends on the size of the tube."

Andrew Lippa's been tweeting about doing Tiger King: The Musical for days now.

I vote for Hugh Jackman as Joe Exotic. Go big or go home.
