It is a little odd though, this happening so soon after Kinnear came in, especially if they are waiting until June to reopen. (Ticket sales aside, I'd assume they could get Girl From A North Counrty out of the Belasco and TKAM into the Belasco soon enough to resume performanced in February if so desired).
My guess is there is something in mind for the Shubert.

January-March is the "slump season" for ticket sales even under normal conditions. With COVID, it's obviously wotse.

No way. I - like many people - believe ALW's Cinderella will play this house in the fall. Discussions were in place even before the pandemic (when Scott Rudin was once involved in the production).
