I got a rush ticket!! I'll be there. And I am head over heels for Orfeh too. I can't wait to see what she does next. I guess we'll have to be satisfied with MADE in the meanwhile.

Holy mother, that was amazing. SO much fun and such a great crowd. The cast went all out, and the auction at the end was RIDICULOUS! They totally went out with a bang. I'm gonna miss this show!

Wasn't that auction fun? Everyone had a great time! And it's all for a good cause (BC/EFA). The show was great. I'm looking forward to the cd.

The auction was hilarious!
What was it...?
Linda Hart: My husband saw it 16 times.
Orfeh: My husband saw it four times.
Kaitlin Hopkins: My boyfriend stayed home tonight and watched TV.
LOL

I wanted that leather jacket REAL bad, but $500, damn. I don't have THAT much money! And the Tina costume. ::whimpers::
Did anyone else notice that whole thing took almost twenty minutes? Love it.
The husband comments were funny, especially since I was a few rows behind Andy Karl and saw him throw his hands triumphantly into the air upon his mention. Hee.
Can we relive that "Storm's A Brewin'" now please?

Amazing show tonight. I didn't think it was possible for the cast to put on a better show than they did Friday night, but they did it.
It's a real shame to see this one go. It's a show that definately should have gotten a longer run than it got. But all good things must come to an end eventually, right? :)

I'm surprised the score, practically right off the music stand, didn't go for more! THAT was a bargain!
Oh, I loved the applause after "Storm's A-Brewin." Three, four minutes? How much longer could we have kept them in that pose?
What a fun show...

Did you see Kaitlin & Orfeh during the applause for "Storm"?
Priceless.

Exactly! Orfeh stretching her leg and Kaitlin shaking her arm. Hahaha...

Hah, no, I could not take my eyes off of Linda Hart up there with her hand out. As soon as Betty gets to the top of the trailer, that's usually all I can see.

So glad I saw the show again. This is truly one of those casts that years from now will have people saying, "Wait. ALL those people were in one show together?!" The other show that comes to mind is "Fascinating Rhythm." Ironically, the FABULOUS Orfeh was in BOTH shows! Maybe she just makes everyone around her perform at the top of their game?!
As fun as the show was tonight, the auction was even better. Marya Grandy didn't inspire too many people to wave their credit cards when she took the fake boobs out of her bra for auction (!!!), but Orfeh got top dollar for her Pippi "pleather" hat and "leather" coat and the music book was also a big item. I was surprised the Flan Stand hat didn't actually go for more. But then again, what would you do with it? Stand in your bedroom in front of the mirror and imitate Leslie Kritzer's choking "bit"?!?
I miss this show already. I hope I can get my hands on the CD before January!

Leslie Kritzer donning the flan hat: It's adjustable!
I hear the recording will be on Sh-K-Boom's website for pre-order hopefully before Christmas.
Does anyone know what Wayne Wilcox will be doing next? As much as I loved him on Gilmore Girls, I hope he sticks around NY.

This was a remarkable closing performance. Everyone was spot-on, and the audience was fantastic. I'll admit that I got really sad at a few points... When Marya ad-libbed to Leslie, "Pickles... for the LAST time... she has agoraphobia." And when Leslie gave her little wave at the end of the show before the blackout.
Can we just talk about how Leslie ran into the mailboxes and fell over after the flan stand bit? Because that HAD to have hurt.

"Goodness is rewarded. Hope is guaranteed. Laughter builds strong bones. Right will intercede. Things you've said I often find I need, indeed. I see the world through your eyes. What's black and white is colorized. The knowledge you most dearly prized I'm eager to employ. You said that life has infinite joys."

Leslie cracks me up every night in that show. She never does exactly the same thing twice.
As for the flan hat, she did say you can wear it and play Tina at home, which is what I would do every night if I could have bid on it!
Oh, and speaking of funny bits - Wayne hissing like a cat at Kaitlin?!?!? That had my sides hurting!

I was also there tonight and completely agree with what you've all said...I am very sad to see it gone.

I saw it this afternoon for a class. My initial thought was that it would suck horribly. Boy was I wrong!! I FREAKING LOVED IT!! I am so sad that today was the last show. I would have loved to see it again. Funny thing that happened to me today: I wanted to buy the Broadway Cares cd and I heard you could use a credit card. I asked one of the people selling the cds and he told me to follow him backstage. I of course freaked out. I walked in and the stars were all gathered with people. It was awesome. Damn I wished I had my camera.

I said my goodbyes with one last visit on Thursday, but I'm glad to hear that last night's closing performance was great. I'm really going to miss this show!
