OMG! When I saw this clip on this now Godsent website, I was screaming. My mom and I were just talking about how amazing it would be to see the two of them in it. Anyway, when you see it, their chemistry is so beautiful, you'll cry. They look so in love, and so moved by the passion of the song. Here it is:

Gosh, I forgot how bad Taye was in the role. If anyone ever gives Joe Mac a hard time about Wicked again they should be made listen to Taye to understand what 'bad' is.

Taye might've been a crappy Fiyero.
BUT he is not a BAD singer by any means. He has a great voice.

Honey, read my original post again. I was saying how bad he was in the role. So yes, I would be judging his singing on his Fiyero in Wicked but not one the three minute clip. I've seen him in the role, so had almost three hours to decide that he was BAD in THAT role.

Sorry Queen. I didn't know you actually saw him in the role.
But he is absolutely fabolous on TWP Cast Recording.
Anyway I hate when people knock Joey. When I saw him on 1/4 he was absolutely fabolous. So much energy and belted the hell out of DTL.

I think Taye is a wonderful actor, I guess Wicked was just 'wrong' him.
I agree with your comment about Joe Mac and he was one of the people I was refering to on the 'stunt casting' thread. Some people just knocked his performance because of his past. I really enjoyed his performance too.
