I will see anything with Gabby Beans is in. She gave one of my favorite performances I've ever seen in Skin of Our teeth.
I liked this (and Taylor) when 2ST presented it as a reading fairly recently. I'm sure Gabby will be wonderful in the role that Kara Young was also wonderful in.

when did Gabby Beans exit this for JONAH? This headline made me do a doubletake.

Probably once she realized what a bomb this was going to be, the NYT review is confounding every other review has been mixed to negative and I personally thought it felt long and taylor was giving a terrible performance
Jonah is really a much better showcase for Gabby’s talent than this play would have offered. I thought the concept for The Apiary was interesting but it just didn’t stick the landing. It felt like it moved really fast but then when the emotional stakes were supposed to get raised at the end, I didn’t really feel that as an audience member.

For the record here's the current cast. I gather STEPHANIE CROUSILLAT replaced Gabby.

Stephanie's role is a dance role only.  I imagine Gabby Beans was intended for the role of Zora, now being played by April Matthis.

Nimene Wureh replaced Gabby Beans.

Also, for purely practical reasons, Jonah has a longer run.  For a working actor, more $ and insurance weeks is important.
