I'll echo the sentiments above: I feel sorry for Steve Kazee, but yeah, I have to say I'm looking forward to this much more now.

Steve was let go....its nothing new happens all the time to actors. Word is the show is in trouble. The music is floating around the internet...nothing to be excited about. This survives on the title alone...sounds like a flop to me.
Andy is a talented musical theater performer, but he is not right for this. He's camp. Steve wasn't perfect either, but he's much better for it than Andy.

He didn't get good reviews. So it's not that surprising. And I think Karl will bring the charisma that the part needs.

In musical theater careers you go where the work is. The actors are not in as high pressure situations as Hollywood ones are if the show dosen't work. It's mostly about how good the show as a whole. It's a broadway show. those aren't that common. of course he should take it. Ask Emily Skinner....she talks about this all the time in interviews.
