I will always think of Roma Torre for this:
She interviewed John Simon (the legendary critic) on OnStage, when an anthology of his greatest columns had just been published. She asked, "Is this... in it? I didn't read it yet."
Simon looked at her, dumbfounded, and replied "Ask the editor who put it together."
