Rock of Ages has an unfair edge: anyone can make "Don't Stop Believing" an amazing number.
So that was Amy Spanger? I thought I recognized her (yes, I know next to nothing about this show).

so, they are going to "list" who awards that they dont care about but without them there would be no show but present shows currently playing on Broadway that were nominated years ago??? Mamma Mia? Jersey Boys coming up?????
Ratings fall... back to the Lakers...

Note to self: Add Rock of Ages to the list with the tour of Mama Mia, of shows not to see.

I thought the Rock of Ages performance, well, rocked! It showcased what the show's all about and I thought they executed it really well.

Constantine's voice sounded great in that number. And thus far I thought Rock of Ages had the best performance of the evening. I'll admit, it looks pure-crack-filled-with-no-plot-fun if I could get a cheap ticket to it. I think it will appeal to many folks, though, and really, that's all they can ask for.
Late, but yay to N2N for score.

I have no idea what Lotte was trying to say but it's nice to know this awful show is being broadcast internationally.
So far the Rock of Ages performance has looked like the only one tonight that might get some people to go to see a show.

Posted: 6/7/09 at 9:06pmRock of Ages is fun. And that's all it's trying to be which is great. I was pleasantly surprised.

Posted: 6/7/09 at 9:07pmI'm sorry, but I love ROCK OF AGES. It's just plain fun. Broadway always needs a show like this. It would be boring if all of the shows were the freaking same.

I enjoyed the ROA performance! I loved seeing the "lighters" in the audience; I was holding mine up in my room. I have yet to see a televised performance of theirs that I really love, but maybe it's just because I don't think the songs work as well out of context? I don't know. Seeing the show is such a unique experience and I just don't think it's really represented well on TV.
