I'm buying tickets to see the play in March. Suggestions on the best place to sit?

Anywhere other than the far sides. If you sit on the far sides, you will miss some visuals that are partially obscured by pieces of the set. I saw this from the far left side of the front mezzanine, and I saw almost everything, but I definitely missed some visuals. The sound system is great, so there's no issues hearing anything in the way back of the theatre if you go that route.
From an affordability standpoint, rush is a great option for this show, and the rush seats are not very obscured. I'd aim to be around 10th in line for rush to get the best available seats; first eight or so will get box seats which I've always hated.
If you plan to pre-buy and don't care much about price, I'd just go for anything non-premium in the center orchestra, since everything there costs the same except for the very far sides.

Hi! We are looking to get tickets to see TCP and currently there are near Center Row D, or dead Center Row J for the same price. Based on the photos I've seen, it looks like the set comes into the audience at a point. Is that accurate...where does that end? Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks!
I would recommend the mezzanine for this one. The more centered, the better.

I remember reading the sides of the front row offer an obstructed view, but has anyone sat front row center?
I sat front row exact center (Row BB seat 108 ). The wooden pieces of the stage come out in V's in a couple of spots. It's a tight squeeze to get past them to your seat but once there, it's fine. And that middle V section drops down, so the are super close when they are on that section. The stage isn't very high either so it was a perfect view. I loved it.

We were in the first row of the Mezzanine, on the center aisle. I think they are the best seats in the house. You can see everything, hear everything, the overhang gets you pretty close to the stage, and yet you can see everything that is happening in the back of the stage or the wings of the stage as well.
I was in the front row on the side (stage right). Seat was partially obstructed especially by a basket in the beginning. Also missed quite a bit because of the layout of the set and choreography in the beginning, but after the beginning (maybe like 15 minutes) I really didn't have much to complain about. Would not recommend those seats if you have other options though.

Seen it 4 times-- All orch (once in box) Front row center was excellent!
Far side Row I was also really perfect, especially for $59 only. Definitely missed nothing. I wouldn't like the mezz for this one. closer the better.
I had been hoping to get front row of the orchestra for this but the seats I wanted are sold out for the performance I'm hoping to attend. Instead, would you choose center orchestra row J or the front row of the mezzanine on the left center aisle? I am leaning towards the mezzanine seat but am worried about the potential for the bar blocking my view and/or a lack of leg room. Thanks for any advice!
Has anyone bought rear mezz seats for this off of TodayTix? How are those seats for this show
I sat in the orchestra second row center and it was absolutely perfect. Loved seeing this show up close - it was so immersive.
I have seen the show twice. Once from the rear mezzanine and once from the 4th row on the far side. I think it's definitely better to be centered for this show. The Bernard Jacobs theatre is so small, that even the mezzanine has a great view! I would just recommend being as centered as possible for this show.

I got a 40% off TKTS seat today at about 1:35 for the 2 pm show. 5th row center orchestra. It was an unbelievably perfect seat.
I have found it's really best to avoid those TKTS lines and get there right before the show starts (especially if you are flexible with a few choices of shows to see). The box offices often release amazing seats that haven't sold...and you can get basically premium seats at a discount.
Im debating between $99 front mezz or $76 rear mezz for this show. If I purchase the $75 I can get the tickets for free on todaytix. Is rear mezz okay for this show?

This probably isn't the answer you were expecting, but my friend saw the show from the rear mezzanine last week and said the view was fine. However, being in that position further back, he also had a view of all the poor behavior occurring in the house. He said tons of people were texting and talking and getting up and leaving throughout. Being closer up may spare you from having to see a lot of that.
And I know you'll be at a different performance with an entirely different audience, but there's some shows running now that seem to be consistently attracting problematic patrons. This one and Fiddler seem to be the main two.

I was just wondering how the view is so that helps a lot, thanks!

I have the option to see this show in a couple weeks. With the discount i found my options are kind of limited. I can basically get the third seat from the aisle on either the left or right side of the orchestra in the first 7 rows. Any help is appreciated.

Second row of the Mezzanine, on the center aisle, if you can get them. My favorite seats for a musical.
We saw this a few months ago from that location and I am still smiling. (If Ms. Erivo doesn't get the Tony, I'll eat my Playbill. But the whole cast was just perfect.)

Unfortunately the only thing in the mezz is on the sides. Thinking of maybe going row D or E third seat from the aisle in the orchestra. Or I could go row K in the centre or J on the left aisle.

Looking to get a ticket for this show, I like being on the aisle, and I saw that there is BB101 (house right first row on the aisle), or D101 (4 rows back). would BB101 be too close? I've also been reading that more center is better, but right now the only center seat I see is E107. Is it worth it being more centered for this show vs. sitting on the aisle?

I sat in E2 and thought it was fine, so D101 would probably be pretty good. I think BB101 might have you looking up more than you'd like, but maybe others who have sat that close can comment.
Edit: I'm 6'6", so that may influence my suggestion to sit a bit farther back and my knees would never survive E107 which I agree would probably be perfection.

I sat in the fifth row center and the view is nothing less than perfection. Go with E107, and you won't regret it.
