While I was in London, I had the fortune of seeing "Curious..." and it was one of the most incredible pieces of theatre I have ever seen in my life. The entire cast is brilliant, not to mention Luke Treadaway who gave one of the most outstanding performances that I've witnessed. All of the Oliviers were so deserved.
I am really hoping we see a Broadway transfer of this in the near future. Broadway needs to have theatre like this. Absolutely brilliant work by the National Theatre.
Any thoughts/ideas?

Posted: 5/19/13 at 3:23pmWow. I had read about this briefly a few months ago and was really excited about it. The novel is one of my favorites. But just watched the trailer and would absolutely be willing to take a trip to London just to see this if a transfer isn't on the horizon. It looks every bit as outside the box as the book is, which is perfect.

Hope it's better in person. I saw the National Theatre film of the show. Interesting, but not as involving as I thought it was going to be. Intricate direction and stagecraft, tho.
