While I was in London, I had the fortune of seeing "Curious..." and it was one of the most incredible pieces of theatre I have ever seen in my life. The entire cast is brilliant, not to mention Luke Treadaway who gave one of the most outstanding performances that I've witnessed. All of the Oliviers were so deserved.

I am really hoping we see a Broadway transfer of this in the near future. Broadway needs to have theatre like this. Absolutely brilliant work by the National Theatre.

Any thoughts/ideas?

I'm seeing this in London next Saturday and couldn't be more excited. Between this and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it should be an amazing trip.

I'm hoping to catch it next weekend while I am there as well. I've heard wonderful things.

One of the most amazing things I've EVER seen on stage. Luke Treadaway has to transfer over the pond with it!

Wow. I had read about this briefly a few months ago and was really excited about it. The novel is one of my favorites. But just watched the trailer and would absolutely be willing to take a trip to London just to see this if a transfer isn't on the horizon. It looks every bit as outside the box as the book is, which is perfect.

Hope it's better in person. I saw the National Theatre film of the show. Interesting, but not as involving as I thought it was going to be. Intricate direction and stagecraft, tho.

I wonder if we will see this on the Lincoln Center roster this season?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Think Curious Incident is more likely to be a commercial production. I think Luke Treadaway will transfer with the production but they recast the other parts.

I think it is more likely to be a commercial transfer simply because it has the potential for a significantly long run.

Also, I would say Luke coming with it is a certainty.
