Great job Kathryn. Been wondering what you've been up to since you haven't been around the boards. I'm might be down by the waterfront tomorrow, I'm suprised it wasn't promoted, but hella people are going to be down there anyway (crossing fingers for no fog tomorrow night).
Edit: Was looking through the thread about the "Creepiest Fan Group" because some of the stories have been cracking me up all day. Evidently someone thinks we're creepy. I think it was funny that it was mentioned because compared to some of the stories about other fan groups, I'd say we're the most sane. Well, a majority of us are. Here's the entry mentioning it http://tinyurl.com/23mrqq
You might not be able to see that if you don't have a MySpace (it makes you login at weird times). Anyway-
"Jersey Boys cast members will be making an appearance at Pier 39 on the 4th Of July from 2:00-4:00. This will be a meet and greet, with 6 cast members."
Kathryn was gonna try to find out somemore info. on it, so I'll post when I get her reply. I was looking up info., but the only thing I see for the Pier are some bands, and fireworks.

When you're talking and no one is there, do you still not make sense?
I don't think that applies to the SF contingent. Large? Not so much...connected? OK, but not even that many of us.
Good point Lizzie. Now I wonder about the NY fans, although I think they're the most sane compared to the groups that are being discussed in that thread, well hopefully. Updated On: 7/3/07 at 11:11 PM
Watch and wait. The cream rises to the top. Let's see what the pros think and where members of the cast end up. I just recognize the obvious. Everybody is entitled to their opinion and I respect that. I do however think that those of you who like to compare actors in the same role and say this one is better or worse than the other is doing them a disservice. Just enjoy what you see and stay positive without having to "dis" anybody. (and Lizzie, I think you spelled one of your comments incorrectly, you missed a "ha")
Douglas Crawford of the Sherry Company will be joining an incredible company at the Ford's Ampitheatre, in L.A. in a concert version of "Chess" on September 17th.
Already confirmed in the cast are, among others, Susan Egan ("Beauty & the Beast"'s original "Belle"), Kevin Earley ("Millie", "Les Miz"), Matthew Morrison ("Light in the Piazza", "Hairspray"), and Cindy Robinson ("Into the Woods").
Yes, let us never compare anyone or have a critical eye toward anything. Let us all join hands and sing Kumbaya in front of the Curran theater (at the candlelight vigil for Doug Crawford, of course).
Seriously, no one has even implied that Jarrod Spector is bad in the role. He's obviously a very talented young man and I'm certain we all wish him the best. But people are going to have critical opinions about what they see on stage, and that's part of what a messageboard is all about.
Now where's my red track suit?

Well you would have to put yourself into that category because you have said on this board that in regards to Jarrod, "He has the best voice by far of all the Frankies including JLY." Now, I would believe inorder to say that statement you would have had to make a comparison between all the actors playing Frankie. According to your own words, you're doing a disservice to them. Here's the post http://tinyurl.com/2ktj22
Apparently it's only a disservice if you compare Jarrod Spector unfavorably to someone else?

Guilty as charged. However, whether or not you consider that good or bad, he does sound the most like Frankie Valli. Now I guess you would have to figure out if you like Frankie Valli's voice. I will refrain however, in the future to not compare the actors in any capacity. They work too hard for some layman like me to criticize them in a negative way.

I wasn't aware that working hard means that someone is then beyond critique. I'm sure that a lot of athletes will be pleased to hear it.
I've contributed to the argument about whether everything should be sunshine and puppies all the time, or whether "laymen" can have critical opinions on what they see, far too many times and I don't feel like getting into it today.
Happy 4th, to those of you who celebrate it.

Wow, they've raised alot of money and they still have a week and a half to go. And I'm happy one cast member finally got a donation, but now there's only one cast member left without one.
