Oh, Eric, I'm sure we could come up with much weirder stuff if we put our minds to it.

Oh let's just go with the questions Eric put in his blog.
"but what does that mean for Rick Faugno? when is Melissa Strom returning, if at all? if she does, what happens to Sarah Darling? with Daniel's departure from Broadway in January, what does that mean for other actors who are playing Bob? what about Vegas? what cast is going to San Fran and will that same cast end up going to Vegas? so many things to speculate about...go for it Broadway World Jersey Boys Tour Threaders - i love the weird **** you guys come up with!"
Have at it folks.

* it's a secret
* that too
* There will be a reality show to find the next Bob, called "It Is More Fun With Another Bob"
* Phantom will close and Jersey Boys will take over, and they'll use the chandelier during the finale

So a comercial just ran promoting the SF holiday engagement. They are going with an insanely corny angle. If you've seen the posters at the Curran you know what I'm talking about. In the comercial they go through the whole "You asked for it so we're giving it to you" thing but one of the lines is "spend the season with The Seasons." I know it's a holiday engagement but that line is so corny.

That's almost risqué. Why don't they just go further? "A Season in your stocking!"

Or "unwrap a Season this season!"
I want to work for a marketing firm and get paid to think of these things.

Oh, this thread...
"Get your fill from your favorite four fellas!"
I amuse myself.
Holiday run#1758

I'm hoping that they either make SF a "sit down" location or extend the run till March before the grand opening of the Palazzo.
There will also be East Coast fans coming to SF to watch the new cast at the Curran in December, which will be a lot of fun! After attending the last BC/EFA benefit with the Midwest and East Coast fans, Jersey Boys Original Broadway Cast, Brickman & Elice plus the Original Four Seasons in New York, they're a great bunch of people and are among the most knowledgable of Jersey Boys fans around!
Just wish that they also update the Las Vegas cast website and finalize the cast roster. I'm itching to find out who's who!

Ok, it's now November, less than three weeks until John Lloyd leaves. WHERE'S MY ANNOUNCEMENT?? It's killing me, smalls. I'd settle for a rumor that wasn't started by me. Come on, tour thread, give a sister some love.
Rumors about the new Bob are welcome too, though that's a few months away.

The Jersey Boys rumor mill must not be running as of late. We haven't heard much about a possible replacement for JLY, Daniel, or anything major about the cast doing the SF engagement.
Although, according to what someone posted on the boards over on Jeremy's site, he's not leaving the Chicago cast until March. If it's true, I'm guessing Bryan McElroy will be playing Tommy during the SF engagement then head to Chicago when Jeremy leaves to supposedly open Vegas.

Well, Erich posted something yesterday but it looks like it got deleted in the mini purge.
But anyway, Melissa Strom has not fallen off the face of the Earth. She's updated her blog.

Granted, I've rushed a lot so I wouldn't be in a (physical) position to watch anyone walk out during the show, but has anyone else witnessed this? Apparently it's happened in San Diego. While I think the critics might want to mention the language in their reviews, it's also up to a paying audience member to do their research.
OMG SWEARING!

That person should have done the research. And I'm sure there have been reviews that have mentioned sex, booze, and the mob. I don't know about the person who wrote the letter but G rated things don't come to mind when those subjects are brought up.

Jennifer Naimo has updated her blog and mentions that Rick Faguno is the Vegas Frankie and that his girlfriend, Joyce Chattick, will be the Vegas Mary. If only she mentioned the Vegas more cast memebers since they were at the show's 2nd anniversary party too. Or they make an official announcement. But I have a feeling it's going to be the situation where if you didn't see the show on 11/20, you're going to have to wait for someone who did to post the cast list. But I could be wrong, after there's still 2 weeks left before performances start again in SF.

At the Curran Theatre, they post signs all over the lobby showing what to expect during Jersey Boys. I remember the use of "Jersey Language" (c'mon, now..... I'm sure that it's easy to see they mean profanity.....) and loud noises throughout the show.
I've lived in NY and NJ before returning to CA, and CA is Disneyworld compared to those two states. I'm wondering if these attendees were just extreme conservatives or just totally uptight people that can't accept that profanity is now freely expressed in all our daily lives..... They even go as far as not censoring the "S" word on regular (not premium) cable stations.....

Shesamarshmallow, go to the jersey boys blog's bulletin board...
They have all of the information you are looking for. Sure there is no official announcements anywhere, but they seem to know who is replacing JLY, and the entire Vegas cast...
