Ooooo, I hope so!
...And, by the by, maybe I missed this somehow but I just stumbled upon this [very low quality] of Anna Kendrick singing "I Can Do Better Than That":

Is there any new info coming? Trailers? Release dates? On Demand viewing?
They still can't find a distributor, and the screening reviews were not great. I don't think this will get released soon.
Any idea what it cost to actually make the movie? Maybe they should just find a way to release it online or VOD or something if they can't do a theatrical release.
I think I read that it had a budget of $30,000.
^ Lord, no! I believe the budget was in the $5 million range, which is still mere pennies compared to most indie films.
I'm assuming this will probably just end up premiering on Netflix in a year or so.
Huh, maybe you're right, Someone in a Tree. Obviously $30,000 sounded (very) low to me, but I know I heard that figure SOMEwhere. I'll see if I can remember where, and what it was referring to. Maybe the actors' salaries? Something about them taking a cut because they believed in the project? Maybe that was it.

I don't see this posted on the movie's Facebook page?
But I really find it hard to believe that this won't find some type of distribution, even if it's via HBO Films or a VOD company. It's Anna Kendrick... if Rapture-Palooza can find distribution, this movie has to.

I can totally see Magnolia or IFC picking this up. They both do VOD as well as theatrical releases around the same time and that might be the best way to release this one. And a soundtrack would probably be out by ShKBoom anyways.
Anyone think HBO or Showtime might pick it up?
I'm sure it'll get a limited release at the same time that it goes directly to On Demand and DVD.
I don't know if this has been posted yet... But here's Jeremy singing "Moving Too Fast" at a concert of his. http://youtu.be/vuXzprnappg Check out the comments, as well.
