It's not "In Your Eyes." It's apparently called, at least for now, "If." I'm going to ask about this in an interview w/ her this weekend. I doubt she'll give me much, but we'll see. Fingers crossed!

"As for their next Broadway project, Kitt and Yorkey reveal that they are again working with Next to Normal, Spelling Bee and Wicked producer David Stone.

Currently under the working title If, the new musical project will focus on a woman facing turning points and changes in her life. "It's in the early stages, but it's a priority of ours. It's hopefully the next thing we'll be doing on Broadway," Yorkey said. The team hopes that Next to Normal director Michael Grief will direct."

It's funny. I've never been the biggest fan of Idina, but somehow the idea of her working with the n2n team is incredibly exciting to me.

6 or 7 years ago, I saw her in Wicked. It was magnetic. Any return to the stage would be welcomed.

Well, we discussed it Monday night! But sadly, it had to remain off the record as she doesn't want to jinx it by talking about it yet. Here's what was record-worthy...

"It's really still too early to talk about it, but I'm working on a reading of a new musical. It's something I'm really excited about and I think has a lot of promise, but that's all I'll say about it for now!"

She mentioned it vaguely in a few other interviews this week, too, saying she should be back on Broadway w/ a new show in a year or two, so assuming this is able to move forward, it looks like Idina has her return show picked out! Woo!

Jordan: when you're being yourself, you read pretty much like this (to my eyes anyway).

I need something official like right this second. lolz like I'm gunna b up all night long just like pacing back and forth waiting for something official to like be written about this. I need a demo right this second. No, I need it like ten minutes ago. No not even lolz. i need it yesterday it's crazy! I just hope that Greif doesn't have the band on stage AGAIN! It didn't work well in N2N. I wasn't a fan of it in RENT but it was just annoying in N2N

I saw Idina's concert in Austin abou a week ago, and she closed the show with a "new song" by her new friends Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey... and yeah it's that song that was already posted. It was wonderful, and i'm pretty sure when this actually comes to fruition I'm gonna vomit, jizz, die, faint, and then vomit again.

Really, and with the rest of that cast, this **** gonna be breathtaking!!!
