i am glad i saw this show so early in the run because i saw EVERYONE in their respective roles. i LOVE Janet's voice, though, and bet she does an amazing job as Nina.

my cast recording came in the mail on Saturday and i sincerely cannot get enough of it. i have so much love for this show. it's AMAZING to re-live it all again on my iPod

When I got it I went in my room at 3 and came out at 8... I have know all the songs by heart by doing that over and over again but from 8 to 12.

I love her!

She does a lot of work at the regional theatre where I work as well. We were in a show together. She did FIVE COURSE LOVE and she was pure brilliance in it!

So glad to hear they are doing "96,000" !!!! Tony win or not, that performance alone should sell tickets !! So amazing live !

hey. welcome back but i am in myrtle beach. i think karen has been back for about six days now, and mandy has been out so krsyta has been going on for her as nina.
i have been listening to the widget and thats been getting me through but can not wait to listen through the obcr when i get back friday.
i hope they sing 96,000 at the tonys and its been selling out lately.

Wow, it was hot. Had a great time, but glad to be home.

Just saw the "Broadway in Bryant Park" schedule.

Hope to see a number of you there on July 17th !!!

i am going to disney between june 23rd-july 5th. would love your ideas and suggestions, testing.
this thread is real enjoyable. i feel krysta has been the most used understudied to date.i loved krysta vanessa but can not wait to see karens. hopefully this is one of two musicals we see for my college this year. my other choices are legally blonde, jersey boys,and spring awakening. they went to see lion king and wicked already.

Awesome !!! We are going back August 30th, and then for our Holiday trip from 11/27-12/5.

One thing I can definitely suggest is one of the misting spray fans... Very hot time of the year, and it will help alot. Buy it before you go, because they charge around $25 in the parks.

Are you staying "on-site"?

If you are planning on eating in the parks (we usually wing it during the say, but have a "sit-down" dinner)

Make sure you have your ressies made for any of the table restaurants. You can make they 180 days ahead, so you are well within the time frame.

We are annual passholders, so other other questions, just ask away !!!

awesome thanks. i go every 2-4 years or so. my last time was about the same time i am going but went in 2005. i have about 3 water bottles with me.
are you going july 17th to bryant park to see the show perform?. i did see christopher jackson walking down 8th ave between 47th and 46th street on a wed between the matinee and evening. but was nice enough not to stop him.

I'm seeing the show for the first time on Friday night. Does anyone have the inside scoop on whether any of the understudies are scheduled to perform? I'm glad to hear that the understudies are good, but I'd really love to see it with the entire original cast. Isn’t it a little early in the run for understudies to be replacing the originals? Hope I enjoy the show as much as all of you did!

not sure if there would be understudies. some may have early vaacation dates before the summer tourism begins.

Testing -- if memory serves me correctly, Karen was in all week. She only took off Sunday night because during the matinee that day, she was starting to lose her voice again. She should be back Tuesday again :)

Luscious- there isn't any planned understudies on for Friday. No vacations yet. Karen and Mandy recently have been sick, but they are not on vacation. Hope you enjoy the show!
