Also, I think tonight was Blanca's first night in the show. I don't know if she was in the off B'way production but this is the first time I've seen her in it, taking over Doreen Montalvo's spot. I usually see Blanca watching the show with me in the back of the orchestra so it was nice to finally see her up there.

I live in Florida so it's hard for me to get a cast recording any other way, and I'm completely in love with the music from this show.

As Doreen on, or was just Doreen out? Congrats to Blanca for going on! Oh and no, she was not part of Off-Broadway, she joined the company on the move to Broadway.

I live in Florida so it's hard for me to get a cast recording any other way, and I'm completely in love with the music from this show.

You can get it at any CD store, Best Buy, Barnes and Noble, and many more. But I think it will be on iTunes on June 3rd. You can also order it from sh-k-boom.com it will come in about four days probably if you order today.

I'm guessing it will be on iTunes, but it also looks like it will be available on Amazon.com's MP3 downloads site (in addition to the actual CD). Amazon already has the recording up with samples, but you can't download the music yet.

not comparing to which numbers i love/like live and from the obcr. still on vacation and waiting till friday to listen to it.

great news the in the heights 11 main cast members will be performing at vigin megastore in times square beggining at 5pm and will be signing the cd(as they call it), we know it as a obcr(duh,theres a difference) afterwards. we dont know which numbers they will perform. i def want to go.

Yep, I noticed that as well. Knowing nothing about how these things are usually recording, my guess is that they sang the song a few times, sometimes using different mics on different actors to get a different sound, and the video is just parts of those recordings edited together.

Robin's mic too. And also love how everyone changes places- sometimes Robin is in the booth to Lin's right, sometimes Chris is, etc. But my favorite is how Andrea and Janet go from each having their own mic, to sharing a mic. And it is possible I've watched that video way too much.

SporkGoddess - I think it ends however you think it ends. Technically the last shot you see on stage is Usnavi stays, and the Rosarios and the hair salon are gone, but I don't think the neighborhood 'falls apart' after that.

I know there are a few June 17th-ers on here, is anyone going to the June 15th matinee?

...I would love to ditch work early on June 5th.

Usnavi decides that "WH" is his "home" and decides to stay-

He is (as he says it) getting another chance/date with Vanessa.

The Rosario's have sold their business, so that Nina can go back to school-

Benny is planning on starting his own business, and the ladies of the salon are "moving out of the barrio, and into the hood" !!!
