Still shocked about Raul, but come on, David is amazing.
The LaChanze award goes to... David Hyde Pierce.
Makes sense in Tony history. Curtains didn't win anything else. They didn't want it to go empty-handed.

deinitely a wtf....i'm almost crying, but not for the reasons I'd hoped.
Raul needed this validation....you could read the disappointment all over his face. Kinda like when Nick Nolte and Lauren bacall were talked up so much for Oscars and then didn't win. The virtually had Raul coronated and it sucks ass that he didn't win.
