someone from elles lounge found this out about the reality elle contract and other things and posted. so i copied it and pasted it here. bailey two weeks and your gone. lets go kate rockwell.
post from elles lounge: According to my source who works directly for the Palace Theater:
Bailey is the winner. Amazon already leaked out her single of "So Much Better" through their website as a "preview digital download." Sadly, the song is a key lower.
Bailey WILL star in the show starting Wednesday night. She's on a preliminary contract (same as the GREASE reality winners) for two weeks and depending on how she'll do, they'll secure her for a longer term contract. It's kind of like insurance for Bernard-Telsey. But rest assured, there's a stand-by at the theater every day. According to this person (who isn't the House Manager and is actually higher on the food chain), BT and Jerry Mitchell are confident in Bailey, that they picked the right person (and no, it's not Amber AND Bailey as many rumors have stated). When I was at the show on Saturday, some of the cast members didn't seem to keen on the winner. I've heard that there's been some tension (perhaps fame going to the head too fast?).
Personally, I think Bailey was a very self-centered person. She has a lot of growing up to do. Her behavior and attitude towards some of the girls on the show, like Cassie, was very much uncalled for. "Do unto others as you would have done to you." Understandable it was a competition, but talking down and bitching about others doesn't make you look any better. And honestly, her voice isn't spectacular. She may have auditioned for American Idol, but that doesn't give her the right to perform on Broadway. What about all the starving actors trying just to make Equity? The ones who have been up there working 10 plus years, working two jobs and going to auditions? Silver platters and Broadway are just going to spawn out semi-talented has-beens. Just look at American Idol... Taylor Hicks, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia... has-beens.

If it's really Bailey, their editing job was really faulty considering they showed Bailey in 2 different locations throughout the show when they didn't show any of the other girls there.
Front what I've learned about tracks and sets, is that some are on a timer. For instance the stairs are set to sit there for a bit longer in a normal show. I imagine the timers were turned off since they weren't going right into serious, leaving the great stagehands to move it back :]
Am I the only crazy who started to tear up a little? I mean, that's a huge moment in their lives and I'm extremely happy for either of them whoever wins.
