I've got tears streaming down my cheeks, for real.
I've liked Autumn from the beginning, but Bailey's growing on me tonight.
What was that? I know it is the end of the song but it came so abruptly.

its pretty obvious they want Bailey... I really see her more as Elle... Congrats to her!!!!!

Right now I'm liking Bailey the best, which I wouldn't have necessarily expected.
I'm not crying, but I do have an adrenaline rush going on.

Borle's gonna look like her daddy.
Ugh. After watching their performances, I totally wish it was Autumn now. I was leaning more towards Bailey just because she felt like Elle to me. But after seeing Autumn in the wig and all - she totally fit Elle.
Boo.

I was sitting there with a huge smile on my face... :) I love Autumn's voice but Bailey rocked...

I agree; Bailey just made me smile throughout the whole thing.

i so appreciate autumns talent, but tonight, Bailey just LIT up the stage. shes bubbly, shes naturally energetic and when on stage, i just couldnt take my eyes off of her. so far, tonight, she IS elle woods on that stage.
Congrats to Bailey. Autumn fans shouldn't feel bad. Shes going to go way far in life.
Bailey is clearly talented, but my problem with her is that not ONE moment is genuine.
It is perfectly clear that she is just imitating the performance she saw given by Bundy on television (down to every single over-mugged gesture.) She's got personality, but she won't be able to make a career off of a cheap imitation of someone else.
And vocally? It's a shame they've had to transpose the ending key of "So Much Better" for her so drastically, since we know some of the other girls that were on the program (especially Autumn) could hit it as written.
While I think Autumn is far superior (if an inept dancer,) it looks as if this just isn't the perfect fit for her in terms of role meeting actor.
I'm sure she'll find great success on the stage in the near future in something far better suited to her immensely gifted abilities.
Bailey is more fun to watch and is a stronger dancer, but Autumn has the voice. You can direct Autumn to act a little more spunkier and teach her how to do the steps properly. But you just can't teach Bailey to sing as well as Autumn does.
BTW. I thought they were performing in front of a live audience?
I'm so happy for Bailey! It's so cool that she's from South Carolina!!!
wtf happened to "the note" that they have been hyping up all season? lol
oh...and go Autumn!!

Uncjrdude... weren't you gloating for the past two weeks that you knew it was Autumn?
its offical.
The winner is... Ashely Tisdale.
I mean, wait what?
If they appreciate good vocals they will choose Autumn.
I will publicly admit that I was wrong :]. I THOUGHT it was her and honestly I thought if everyone else is saying they know for sure...I'll do it!
I was wrong :]
Congrats Bailey! Way to represent the south!

- No. They nixed that plan. They knew no one in the audience would keep it a secret.

They didn't tranpose the song for Bailey. They did it for LBB because she kept botching that note.
Her vocals aren't as good as Autumn, but she can hit the notes. She's still a better singer than LBB, in my opinion.
Edit: Oh, unless by "her" you meant LBB.
"They knew no one in the audience would keep it a secret."
Apparently no one could keep it a secret without the live audience either...

Bailey's recording that will be released tomorrow IS transposed down a whole step.
SporkGoddess, Bailey is singing the song in the lower key right out of the gate from her first performance (as you'll see Wednesday night.)
They lowered the key for Bundy because her voice wore out and she couldn't keep hitting it, but they're keeping it lower for Bailey because she can't hit it.

I played the clip next to Laura Bell on the recording and it sounded the same to me, but I'm not good with theory so I'll take your word for it.
And here we are at the final moment...
