I'm so old I'm posting on this thread just to see when I joined because I have no clue how else to find it. 

From the little information Ive been told, they're thinking 24-25 and yes, the lavish production that made it a hit. 

A friend of mine connected to Disney Theatricals recently mentioned that Disney was back talking about a BATB revival but they wanted the Palace back. Looks to me...that may now be an option with Tammy failing. 

This is such a fun thread topic that reminds me of the good ole days of BWW.

I find Debose to be cringe and this opener only supports that. If this *was* her audition for Gypsy...she ain't getting the job. 

Seems some new marketing is focusing on "A New Story Inspired By The Songs Of Huey Lewis & The News."

Anyone know if they have switched out marketing at the theatre/through the city to utilize the pull quotes?

Take it for what it's worth but I have on mildly good word that Platt was not the first pic, Gaga was. It was going to be a 30 day residency sold as "Gaga and Friends" much like she had with Tony but logistics and scheduling could never work out. 

 

Instead we get...Ben Platt...opening the most iconic house. Yowza. 

I assume Slater is headed back to London to finish Wicked. I believe it was heavily reported when the strike happened they had about 7-10 days of shooting left. 

This comes across bitter and desperate in my opinion.
