Considering half of this play takes place in the underbelly of London (ie...WHORES GALORE!) I am sure even Brecht and Weill would have had nudity in the original production if it were legal.
As for the box office notice, it is called CYA. They must tell people there is a possibility there might be nudity so that after the fact people can't ask for a refund if they were not warned. I think the final decision on the nudity hasn't been made, but they need to tell people that they may see a dick or a tit.

I really don't think it is going to be Jim Dale! I don't really see a point in the story where his character would even be naked. It will probably be Cumming, as we have all surmised, or it could be Brian Charles Rooney who is playing Lucy Brown.

I'll put a vote in for Brian Charles Rooney. Clearly this Macheath is going to be ambisextrous... Of course it could be Carlos Leon (Lourdes' daddy)...
