Name a Broadway pro that hasn't had a flop.

Sad to see it close, but it's not entirely unexpected.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

It was bad, but I was expecting it to close at least at the end of the year. Wah wah.

Is this a new world record for a jukebox musical?

It's closing??? For God's sake, WHY?????????

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

As with every show that closes prematurely, refunds are promptly issued to tickets sold in advance for dates AFTER the closing of the show.

Don't worry -- you'll get your money back, though sadly, the investors/producers of this turkey won't be. re: The Times They are a-Closin'

I predicted this thing wouldn't make it till Thanksgiving and surprise surprise. Sorry to the cast, but there is much better out in the world for you to do than this BIG OL STINKER!

If you bought your tickets at the box office you will get all of your money back. If you ordered through Telecharge. I do not believe you get back part of the service fee.

Perhaps The Wiz could go into the Brooks Atkinson?

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Or maybe...dare I say it...the revival of Grease.

*sigh* Lisa needs a break one of these days.

I'm shocked though. IN MY LIFE held on longer.

No! I was really hoping to make it to the city to see this one. Michael Arden and Lisa Brescia are enough for me. Hmm... perhaps a one-day excursion before next week. Gah! I'm so mad.
