Name a Broadway pro that hasn't had a flop.
Sad to see it close, but it's not entirely unexpected.

Posted: 11/8/06 at 4:40pmIt was bad, but I was expecting it to close at least at the end of the year. Wah wah.

Posted: 11/8/06 at 4:40pmIs this a new world record for a jukebox musical?
#7re: The Times They are a-Closin'
Posted: 11/8/06 at 4:41pmI thought it would at least run through January. . .

As with every show that closes prematurely, refunds are promptly issued to tickets sold in advance for dates AFTER the closing of the show.
Don't worry -- you'll get your money back, though sadly, the investors/producers of this turkey won't be.

Posted: 11/8/06 at 4:48pmI predicted this thing wouldn't make it till Thanksgiving and surprise surprise. Sorry to the cast, but there is much better out in the world for you to do than this BIG OL STINKER!

If you bought your tickets at the box office you will get all of your money back. If you ordered through Telecharge. I do not believe you get back part of the service fee.

Posted: 11/8/06 at 4:49pmPerhaps The Wiz could go into the Brooks Atkinson?

This show should have closed in previews...
I hope Lisa Brescia gets work again soon.

*sigh* Lisa needs a break one of these days.
I'm shocked though. IN MY LIFE held on longer.

Posted: 11/8/06 at 5:11pmNo! I was really hoping to make it to the city to see this one. Michael Arden and Lisa Brescia are enough for me. Hmm... perhaps a one-day excursion before next week. Gah! I'm so mad.
