God, more than that, she was answering randomly. My question:
From Blax:
How was your experience working with Baryshnikov and how did he influence your current work?
He was and is an amazing dancer.
Uhhh, that is not what I asked?

I would not describe Times... as boring. What with all of the random hooking up of the two characters, the giant balloony-lady, the bouncing balls, and the light up moon that Michael Arden sits on, it's certainly not boring.
These closings never get extended or anything right? I'm not exactly sure how it works. Is a date really set in stone?

"You don't know what you've got til its gone."
I'm so bummed!
You know it's bad when you close after having less performances than previews. 28. Wow.
Poor Michael Arden. Well, at least now he can go do better things.
In the good old days of flops, this one would have been shuttered on opening night.

I didn't see the show but I've heard awful reviews it's just interesting that they would close this first when Jay Johnson is doing so bad.

Do you think if I went to try and see this, the tickets would be cheap or would they cost full price?

Now that It's closing will they have like $30 tickets just to break even with money to get people to go?

Did Marie Christine close early or was its limited run that short?

Times has a lot more people to pay than Jay Johnson. I loved his show....so much heart. Times....whew, the smell of it still lingers on the outfit I had on that night.
i knew it was going to close...just not this quickly.
does anyone if I went on Friday afternoon how expenisive the tickets would be for that evening's performance? I imagine pretty cheap!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but just because the show posted a closing notice doesn't mean ticket prices are reduced! The prices are still between $71.25 and $111.25 unless you get student rush or tdf tickets.

They've got student rush, sold in advance, for the rear mezzanine.
Has Frost/Nixon set a theater yet? It seems the Atkinson would be perfect....
would they sell me the student rush day-of?

Wow, it just seems like some just waited for it to close, because there must be better shows to put in there, right?
Did anyone do this to any other show? When Sweeney announced it was closing did anyone go, oh, hey, what should they put in there next?
I mean, I don't want to criticize. Especially because Times is not up to Sweeney par, but still.
^ Sweetie. This happens for EVERY show when they announce their closing.
It's very exciting when there will be a vacant theatre open for some quality material.

Man I'm bummed. I really wanted to see this in December, but I guess it narrows down my choosings. Does anyone have a picture of the Times Marquee? I would really like to see it. Pm me or something.
I wanted to see this show, just to see Lisa, and I'm sad I won't get to now. I wasn't sure about the actual show, because from the video preview, some of my favorite Dylan songs were mangled beyond the point of recognition. But still, I wanted to see Lisa.

Do reviews matter to you?
Of course.
Is this the same lady that said we should say F*ck you to the critics?

The Times They are a-Endin' for makin' jokes on the title The Times They are a-Changin'
I am like the conniving visage of the Grinch, eagerly awaiting the announcement of the next show to inheirit those hallowed halls.
Didn't Riedel already write that the Old Vic revival of Moon for the Misbegotten with Kevin Spacey would be the Atkinson's next tenant?
Went to the show tonight. I don't know why people are ripping this show to shreds. I went this evening expecting nothing and I was entertained. If you look at the story for what it was (A series of dreams) and listen to the great voices you will be entertained.
I am a very big fan of Bob Dylan and I LOVED the voices.
Arden and Sesma blew me away. I also loved the dancer who played the dog. He had me laughing.
I think the story was a mess, but the talent shined through it.
Sad it is closing.
