The show started around 7:30 last night, and there were no glitches once it did begin. Kiril and David B were fantastic as always, though Leah was in for Haydn. When the house first opened, the curtain was in so they could keep working on whatever they were working on, though someone did come out and test the gold flippy lights on the very downstage edge, which would not flip all the way for some reason, they kept making a weird noise, like they were getting stuck. During the show, they still didn't flip all the way over, but it didn't really affect the lighting. It was an interesting day to be sitting A12. :)
Interesting. But thanks for asking Kiril! Now I am extremely excited to see it Friday! Not that I wasnt excited before but now that I know who is going, I can relax.
Sorry if this was already discussed in here, but I'm not about to go back and read 24 pages. Is Billy Elliot ever on TKTs? With Cancellation line, how much are the tickets usually? What are the cheapest tickets and are they horrible seats?
Cancellation line will offer you 126.50 seats, but at least they're usually damn good seats, like house or broker seats that get released. Once in a blue moon group tix will get returned and sold for 114 cash.
Hey if any of my board scouts are around this weekend, PM me or email me at geri@friendsofbilly.com . I particularly need someone to check the Saturday matinee board. Thanks! :)
When I was at the show last night, Santino was more emotional than normal and it made me think that he is leaving this week. My prediction is that he will play his last performance June 21st but Im not sure. Dont quote me here.
Humm...3 Kiril shows now announced ahead of time...thats new.I KNOW they are told not to tell anyone their next shows...plus all the way to next Sunday??? Weird(but nice if it holds).
Kiril might just tell people when they ask at the stage door, I know David has done that before.
