WOWOW! Will Chase will be excellent! Big Fan! Too bad Tony doesn't sing much! Thanks for the info guys! I would think that BWW would announce a replacement of that magnitude. Am i right? Hopefully there will be a press release.

Is he an understudy for Tony too?
You know, I've seen Jeff more than I've seen Santino...
It's seems BILLY is trying to stay away from recycling, which is nice but at the same time frustrating.
Tell me about it, David was the best Tony I saw and I saw Santino and Jeff numerous times. He really embodied the character and did a really job with it and he was sweeter at the times with Billy and that made the character more likeable. That makes me angry! But im happy that David Hibbard has joined the company, I LOVED him in Spamalot. Very excited about that!

Well, Tony isn't really supposed to be "liked" so to speak.

I'm sure Will Chase will make an excellent Tony but at nearly 39 he seems a little old. He is only 9 years younger than Greg Jbara - but I suppose it is theatre and we are expected to use our imagination.

Will's in front in that picture, he'll look fine next to Greg.
I think its a funny coincidence that Will Chase was last seen just last month in "The Burnt Part Boys" musical at the Vineyard theatre. Where he played a coal miner, and father of two sons. And it was a similar coming of age story about tension between the brothers. And all the coal miners wore similar costumes to BE, and used headlamp helmets to similar effect. Will chase was a convincing father, which says something about how old he is. But in Britain's BE, the current dad was an original Tony, so the age of the actors depends on how you cast the others in relation.

I had no idea Donna Lynne Champlin, who I really enjoyed in the SWEENEY TODD revival, had gone into the show last month. She's immensely talented.
I'm sure Will Chase will be quite good as Tony.
She hasnt. I saw the show Friday and Stephanie was still there. I guess she was just settling into the company and she'll start Tuesday. I wish Stephanie the best with her new baby!
I thought someone posted tonight would be Frank's last night, or was it Sunday? David is on tonight. If Frank's last night was Sunday, were there any speeches or special happenings?
Yes it was Frank's last day this past Sunday. I wish Keean was taking over the role as Michael.
Board for the most important ones 6/23/09:
Billy-Tommy Batchelor
Michael-David Bologna
Small Boy-Matthew Mindler
Mrs. Wilkinson-Jayne Patterson
Mum-Liz Pearce
Debbie Wilkinson-Maria Connelly
Well, hopefully Keean will get some quality Michael time in until Trevor joins the cast. Did they do anything special for Frank on Sunday?

Just flowers at curtain call. Hopefully this "not announcing final performances" does not become a trend.

i never post in here, but figured i'd add this. Will Chase's first show is 7/7, not 6/28 as listed on Greg Jbara's site.

I've just checked on Greg's website and it looks like Will's name has now been removed from it - as has Trevor Braun's.
I heard in another post that Trent had to go on for Tommy last night halfway through the second act. Does anyone have more info on this. Was there an injury? Was it the Dream Ballet? Was anyone there?

Maybe that is what Trent was talking about when I passed him last night- he was going on about something.
Is there any possible way to find out who was on for Billy at a specific performance?
