I believe I saw Jayne on for Mrs W, and the usual Posh Dad and Clipboard Woman fill-ins. Twenty minutes before curtain is a bad time to check the board, lol...
As a friend of Trevor & his family, Just wanted to clarify even if Trev is off Greg's site and there hasn't been a formal announcement, he is in fact still joining the cast...he just started rehearsals last week :) Come see him in TLM before July 12th!! Updated On: 6/24/09 at 03:09 PM
Yeah that's what I figured the reason was...especially since when I told Trev's sister about the announcement on here she was in shock of how it got out.
So I went to see BE again last night with trent. Tommy was standby, and I asked him at the stagedoor what happened Tuesday. He said that he was struck with an intense migrane that hit him in the middle of the Dream Ballet Sequence, and he couldn't continue with the performance. After the Dream Ballet, Trent took over for him. But tommy seemed alright last night when I saw him, and having met him for the first time, thought he was genuinely friendly, and I hope I get to see him perform soon.
Trent was also good last night. There was a crazy group of 14 year old girls at the SD and one of them slipped trent her phone number, and I turned to them and was like, "I think he has a girlfriend." And she was like, "thats ok, I have a Boyfriend." Oh to be 14 again....
Stephen: "Could you grab me a coffee?"
Me: "Would you like that with all the colors of the wind?"
Post from other day ... " ... Also, I'm not at all in the least interested in seeing Tommy as Billy ever. He wasn't one of the original three and did not win a Tony. He will never ever be on the same level as Kiril, Trent and David in history. Just won't happen. ... "
Post from today ... " ... and having met him for the first time, thought he was genuinely friendly, and I hope I get to see him perform soon."
Mybigsplash: Glad to hear and I hope Tommy wins your heart, too like the other boys.
I had the pleasure of seeing Tommy on the Saturday night before the Tony Awards. He was just wonderful! I've seen the other three a couple of times each and we all know that they each put their own stamp on the role. Tommy is no different. What I really enjoyed was seeing this really little (when compared to the original 3) boy playing the part. The audience was very vocal that night, and there were lots of moans and soft 'oh no' when Billy turned away from his dad after the audition. But then at the end, after dad had him all dressed to go, he jumped into Greg's arms and everybody cheered. It just looked so natural and so right.
There are wonderful things to see and enjoy in each of these boys' performances and you're cheating yourself if you automatically rule one of them out.

I thought this was a wonderful two reviews of the show that someone wrote on broadwaybox.
The absolute best! Review by: scootmandu, Jun 24, 2009 I saw Billy Elliot twice. The first time, with the new 4th Billy, and, most recently, with Trent Kowalik. I also saw it with the 2 different actors who play his best friend. I have seen a ton of musicals in my lifetime, and I would rate this in my top 3. The first act is as non-stop entertaining as a show can get, with one tour de force number after another. The 2nd act is more ballet-centric and more acting-driven, but still quite ... read more powerful. Show stoppers include a breath-taking "Solidarity" and "The Angry Dance." "Shine" was also wonderful, as were "Expressing Yourself" and "Electricity." This is one of the absolutely extraordinary stage experiences you will ever experience. Trust me, you do not want to miss it.
I have seen about 100 Broadway shows in my lifetime. Billy Elliot is by far the best musical I have ever seen. This show is amazing. Everything about it is incredible. The acting is so believable and each cast member truly becomes their character. The set, costumes, and lighting are all top-notch and make the show come alive. Elton John's score is out of this world. Shine, Solidarity, Angry Dance, and Electricity are the highlights and all ... read more four of these songs will give you chills. It is impossible not to fall in love with this show.
I guess Leah is on vacation or something. I was wondering when Stephanie was going to leave I was so sacred for her baby, she was getting very large and I didnt want her to get hurt. Best wishes!
The twitter said Trent but my sister and mother went down today and said they changed it to Kiril. Any info on that and do you think Trent will go tomorrow?
Definitly confirmed, my mom say the show and it was Kiril. They made an announcment before the show that the role of Billy will be played by Kiril. The paper in the playbill still said Trent though.
I am part of the twitter team who checks the board before each performance.
For today's matinee, I was held up at work and didn't leave til much later. When I got to the lobby (around 1:30 p.m.), it was mobbed. Take my word, it was scary!! I only got as far as the merchandise person who was kind enough to assist me with the board: **Kiril is Billy/Keean is Michael/TRENT is Tall Boy**
Since I didn't see it with my own eyes (and in case I misheard), I sent another fellow Twitter teammate to confirm the info. And FYI, all the details are true!
**I'd love to hear a review from anyone who attended today's matinee, especially with Trent in the role as Tall Boy.**
