Kiril will be performing with Kristin Chenoweth, and Patti LuPone at the Winspear Opera House on Oct. 17th. He has also been offered full scholarships to the Royal Ballet School and ABT.
Out of the three Billy's I think that Kiril is the soft, emotional one, David is the angry one, and Trent is sort of in between.

Did anyone see Alex Ko's first performance as Billy? Any reports?

I was there last night. Alex had an amazing first show. The kid is awesome. His dancing is great. One of the highlights is he did a no hands flip off the piano. You'll love him. :)
I really liked Haydn, so it will take some time for me to adjust to Kate. She was good, but just not comparable to Haydn. Anyway, Kate has a whole new wardrobe. Am told this is common for new Mrs. Wilkinsons.
After the show, the cast & crew celebrated with champagne & apple cider.
It was fairly quiet at SD --many of Alex's immediate and extended family was there. I was able to get Alex's autograph and a picture with him. Right before I left the scene, I went up to Alex's mom and said congratulations. :)
Waited for Kate to come out for a good 45 min, but we either missed her or she didn't come out til much later.

When I saw Jayne as Mrs. Wilkinson she had pretty much an entirely different wardrobe, minus the coat that Haydn wore.

Geri was actually in CA up until yesterday so she was not at any of the weekend performances. She was at Alex's debut though.

Oh, speaking of Alex, I was just looking at his website, he seems like a lovely boy. The story about his father is so touching yet heartbreaking.

I'm here, I'm alive. :)
Just updated the thread on FOBE, and while I did miss Kiril and Haydn's departures, I did fly in just in time for Alex's debut.

Btw, anybody know how the "See ya (real names)" goodbye between Micheal and Billy during a Billy's last show got started? Did it originate with a particular Billy (i.e. Oliver Taylor) or has it been around more or less since the beginning?
Has it also been done at a Michael's last show where a Billy was not leaving? In particular, did they do it at David Bologna's last show?

Yes. Trent and David B. did the personalized goodbye.

Taylor - on the 9/23 blog, Kate describes her costumes.
Sparkly and colors are vibrant as before, but now with patterns, which IMO are too busy and distracting.

I don't know exactly when it started, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't from the beginning. I was at Joey Phillips' (Michael) last show in London and he and Leon Cooke didn't refer to each other by their real names.

I just want to mention how lovely it was that Stephen Daldry was at Kiril and Hadyn's last. He was so freindly too.

The new costumes for Mrs. W are from the Australian show. She mentions it in her blog. You can see them in some of the youtube videos from the Aussie show. I personally liked the old ones better. She doesn't wear a tutu in the finale. It's a sparkling white dress. I guess I'm just use to Haydn. I'll give it some time.

I do think that it started with Ollie and Ryan on their last show.

Yes, I think the use of names in the final scene started with the departure of Ryan Longbottom, the last original child lead, in London.
In terms of Mrs Wilkinson's costumes, they do seem to outfit each Mrs Wilkinson differently. At the start Hadyn and Gillian Kirkpatrick used the same outfit; Sally Dexter used Haydn's costumes for the first six months, during the second six months she got different costumes for Shine, including some short, starry hot pants; at this time Kate Graham joined as the alternate, using the original costumes. Jackie Clune had a whole new wardrobe and two different tutus for the finale. Jo Riding had another set of costumes too, lots of loose smock-type outfits and a dress rather than a tutu for the finale, I though that this costume was just to disguise her pregnancy and when she returned she'd be given something different, but this doesn't appear to be the case. When Gillian Kirkpatrick returned as the alternate, she used similar costumes to her first run but there were some differences.
The gold Mrs Wilkinson coat seems to be the only garment common to all Mrs Wilkinsons.

Kiril was my favorite. I'm not as interested in the continuing next gen cast. I'm moving on from BE.
