News to me if Keean is on his way to Chicago...there is another possibility...
Where is it confirmed that he is a Michael?
Keean is in fact going to open the Chicago production of BE as one of the Michael's.

It was confirmed by Birdie cast members that Jake will be going to Billy Elliot... one Billy cast member also was writing how they stole Jake from Birdie.
I'll tell you... Billy Elliot really is like a kidnapper, those other shows gotta watch out LOL.
What a shame that Broadway is losing Keean (I would've preferred that he stayed and Trevor left), but I am happy for him and his family for this new adventure.
Jake's Actor page has already been uploaded with the news, so he is in fact, headed to Billy Elliot.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the first anniversary.

In love with Dayton's accent. kbye...
Now, it seems like he has already started going through puberty (ie: light mustache)... don't they have some type of puberty screening test before casting the boys? And yes, from what I understand, it's as weird as it sounds.
From the moment he was cast as Billy Elliot in Australia's production of the feel-good musical, the creators had bigger ideas for the lively lad from Sydney suburb Penrith.
"He was so outstanding and beautiful as Billy that when an opening came up here (in New York) they wanted to give him that opportunity," said the show's US casting director Nora Brennan.
"They just loved everything about him, to be honest."

"I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the first anniversary."
What is there to mention?
Yeah. I mean we've said our happy anniversaries...other than that it's just another show.
What is there to mention?
The only "happy anniversaries" I've seen were on another thread, which wasn't posted when I composed the message.
I just figured we'd get a brief mention of who was on and if they did anything special to celebrate. I now know the answers are "Trent" and "no".
Yes Trent and Trevor were on. It was a great show, the audience was full of the dedicated fans which made it wonderful. The cast and crew did their own thing to celebrate, and so did the fans.
Trent, Kiril, and David named in "Top 30 Broadway Stars under 30" list; from the people who did the "50 most powerful" list. Not a bad list of Broadway youth!

what are the chances of student tickets being available this week??
I would say very unlikely for both shows wednesday and probably tuesday. And obviously not the weekend.
