I know, I know - politics... But, I can't believe this is still happening both because it's not a 'rally' song and because - really?

I agree that Lloyd Webber should stop the playing of the song...however, there is something that rubs me the wrong way about Betty Buckley complaining. I mean, I get that its her singing, but how much control does a cast member have over the use of a cast recording.

Betty is as anti-trump as you can get and I would expect no less of her to use her clout to demand this.

It is not just up to ALW about using this song, Trevor Nunn wrote the lyrics and has a say also in who can use the song. News flash to Betty, I don't think one person at Trump rally or campaign would really care if they no longer can use the song. CATS has become such a joke now after the horrible movie they almost should be glad anybody wants to use a song from that show -lol.

Say what you want about Cats, but I think "Memory" is a gorgeous song. What I don't understand is, why does Trumpsterfire think it's a good "rally" song?
