This was always going to be a tough sell… and the show received mixed reviews.

I never saw it and didn't really have any intentions to, but any time a show closes suddenly like this it sucks. Every show deserves to have a proper sendoff!

So sorry about this sudden closing. I enjoyed it tremendously and found it very moving. I'd guess that additional closings could be similarly announced fairly soon.

this show lost its entire capitalization
Got bad reviews (NYTIMES, HOllywood reporter etc)
and had an incredibly short run (12 previews and 74 performances. )

And yet lasted longer than a few other shows that folded soon after opening/reopening, including everyone’s beloved DIANA.

A talented cast and crew lost their jobs before Christmas when they looked like they might actually make the push to March - have some sympathy, you insufferable miser
