I was just informed that the article was an April Fools joke. So as Andrew Burnap sang in Camelot, WHAT A FOOL I WAS, especially since I bought a ticket for his opening night. The funny thing is that I had friends texting me from all over the United States asking me if I was going to see him in the production, so it must’ve gotten picked up in various regional newspapers.

Oof, that sucks. If you call up the ticketing line and explain what happened, I think you should be able to get a refund. You could also just go see the show (if you haven't already), it's incredible, and judging from its recent revolving slate of actors playing Mary, whoever you're bound to catch after Maya Rudolph could be really exciting.

If they were following that article, they got tickets to see Maya. The date they gave for Timmy is during Maya's extension.

Forgot she extended. Even better, I hear she's brilliant in it.

It was clearly an April Fools joke. It revealed that in the last line of the TM article but you knew it wasn't true if you read the entire article. (Which was quite funny)
Unless I missed them, BWW used to do a lot of them on April Fools day and I didn't notice any this year.

You know, maybe I will go see her. It seems the role would be right up her alley. I did see it with the original cast. Does anyone know if Cheyenne Jackson will be playing opposite of her or who the actor will be? I booked the ticket for Timothée Chalamet‘s supposed opening night, which is June 22. I did buy ticket protection through TX which I don’t normally do. They basically give you a credit for a year, which I wouldn’t have a problem using since I live in Manhattan,

Right now, it appears the most important thing to him is being a Knicks fan - ha ha.

Not a remotely funny joke.
Sorry, UWS10023.

Anyone taking any questionable great news on April 1 truly deserves being punked. The amount of announcements of insane projects all on the same day is one basic common sense ah-ha red flag head-kick to look at the date on the calendar.
