On one hand, I’m shocked it’s taken this long but on the other if it weren’t for J.K. being what she is, it probably would have happened longt before this.

They could bring the entire original cast from the film and I wouldn't support giving this woman any of my dollars.

I, personally, know trans and non-binary people that work either at that show or for the HP universe elsewhere. One of them recently said to me: “JK Rowling could not make another penny for the rest of her life and still be filthy rich for the rest of her life. If people want to go see a show or watch a series and support the artists working on it, I kind of understand.”

I thought this was an interesting perspective

This is such a win-win no brainer for the less famous members of the movie cast and the play, I'm surprised it took this long for this type of stunt casting. 

Rowlings' insane hostility towards trans people is a legitimate reason not to do the play, though on the other hand as opposed to the rest of the Cursed Child cast, Felton was already going asked about Rowlings is every interview he does regardless of if he ever did the play.

Its literally the most banal perspective and not interesting at all. Feel free to have it, but dont pretend that's something to think about lol.
