I think I am the only person who hates "Change in Me." I played Belle for a long while and while I loved the role I dreaded that section in Act 2. To me, it felt like it caused the show the come to a screeching halt.
What can I say, I just don't like it.

Posted: 2/21/07 at 12:31pm"A Change in Me," though a pretty song, does bring Act II to a screeching and doesn't really tell us anything new about Belle. The Broadway show has a lot of padding and could benefit from 10-15 minutes being cut.

Also, does anyone know where there was an article about many costumes from Broadway on display somewhere, and one of them was Belle's dress?
Oh, and Toni Braxton is great in videos I have seen, just search for her in the show on Youtube. She's a deeper Belle. So? I like this different take on the character.

^ I saw her dress at the D23 Expo in Anaheim last fall as part of the Archives exhibit. Only mention of the Theatrical department besides merchandise

In Chicago, the news media use the term "white ethnic" as a P.C. way of referring to the Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Czech, Serbian, etc. communities in the city.
Example: "Rod Blagojevich got a lot of support among white ethnic voters."

I used to work at the Olive Garden in Times Square and i remember one day when I was walking into work and looked up at the Palace Theater marquee to see....... TONI AND THE BEAST!!!!
They totally covered up the word Beauty with TONI. I laughed out loud on the street.
Damn I WISH we had camera phones back then.

PS. I also remember when they were putting up the spinning head of Linda Blair on the GREASE billboard. The staff went up to the roof to have a good laugh at that one. lol
