I put together my own website with predictions and analysis for this years Tony Awards. I'm still working on the analysis for each category, but my predictions won't likely change very drastically! Please do let me know what you think (email: Tonyawardshaven@gmail.com)

Very good idea. Jut one tihng: No LITTLE MERMAID for Lighting? Natasha Katz is a genius that made MERMAID and even (dare I say it's name-it's worse than saying Macbeth) TARZAAN looks ahmazing!

Only Nick Blaemire would be credited for Best Score for Glory Days. James wrote the book.
Very cool.
But I miss Hoffman and Testa in the supt. musical actress category.
No Cymbeline love? And I highly doubt Mermaid will be nominated for choreography.

Damn straight Raúl Esparza will get a nom. for Lenny in The Homecoming!

Somehow I feel as if Passing Strange won't get as much award attention as you predicted.
From what I understand, Eve Best has been ruled as leading actress for THE HOMECOMING, not featured. I suspect she will definitely get a nomination. I wouldn't rule out Laura Linney or Elizabeth Marvel from the Best Leading Actress in a Play category.
I highly doubt James Earl Jones will win for CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, and he may even be placed in the leading category (he is above the title).
And I wouldn't count out Rosie Perez from the Best Featured Actress in a Play category.
I like your predictions but frankly I just think it's too soon to tell. Especially in the play front with so many high-profile productions about to open: BOEING-BOEING, MACBETH, TOP GIRLS, THE COUNTRY GIRL, and LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES.
I agree with about 90% of your nominations. Greats picks!
The only thing that could really affect a lot of these predictions is how well received Glory Days is.
I think your about 75-80% there. However, I don't think GYPSY and SOUTH PACIFIC are eligible for best orchestrations since they use the originals. I could be wrong.
I'm feeling a lack of Robin DeJesus on the featured actor list.
Wow... beautiful job !!! Agree with Dancin'-- need DeJesus there, and dont think that James Earl Jones would get a nomination. Certianly doesnt deserve it over Hinds or Hill.
Again, great job on the site !!!
Agree with Curtain, as well--- Not sure about Jackie Hoffman, but Mary Testa will definitely be nominated, in my opinion.
Oh, I forgot Mary Testa too.
Very nice, but it might be nice to have a complete list of those eligible in each category- that way others can form their own opinions.
Good job!
Was Arthur Laurents ever nominated for directing GYPSY before?
If so, I believe that leaves him out.
He was nominated for the Lansbury production. He cannot be nominated again.
But this production is ENTIRELY different from the Lansbury staging. I could see if it was just a restaging, but it certainly isn't. If this is the case, I'm going to petition the Wing and the Leuge to make him elligible. I doubt my letter will work and I know it's Arthur Laurents, but when someone does good work, they deserve to be recognized.

I like your website. I agree with most of it but there definitely should be more Young Frankenstein!

Don't you think Daniel Breaker will be Leading?
Elphaba3-
That's a lovely sentiment, but the problem is that there will not be any more of it. The musical you mentioned will probably walk about with nothing and the world will be a better place that way. It's an awful show. Go listen to some Sondheim.
These are pretty good. Although, I think in the supporting actor & actress category (musical),Tony Roberts & Mary Testa will recieve nominations.
Tony voters love Mr. Roberts and Mary Testa is a nominee favorite as well.
