And let's not forget that you were contributing to the "speculation" regarding this decision on the last page of this thread. You said it was done to avoid offending viewers or to make a show out of how sad the cast was. What do YOU have to back that up?
I thought it was a very powerful choice to stage Yorktown minus the muskets. The performance landed very heavily for me, though admittedly I don't think I would have been bothered with the muskets onstage either.
