Just wondering what everyone's listening to nowadays. What are your top five most often played cast albums right now?

Mine:
SPRING AWAKENING
SEUSSICAL (only because I'm in it)
GREY GARDENS
THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA (still...)
JULIA MURNEY: I'M NOT WAITING (not a cast album, true, but I can't get enough of her)

2. Nine
3. Parade
4. A Little Night Music
5. Side Show

THE DROWSY CHAPERONE

1. Evita (2006)
2. Footloose (movie soundtrack)
3. Company (2006)
4. Requiem
5. a British RP CD b/c I have to do the accent in an upocming production of Antigone, and this one SHOULD be my #1 slot...but I got distracted by four other CDs...

I tend only to listen to cast recordings while I'm in my apartment having dinner or something...I don't typically listen to them on my iPod as I'm walking down the street.

So while not my most played albums of current, my most played CAST albums at the moment would be:

Drowsy Chaperone
Into the Woods
Tick, Tick... Boom
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
