JFC. We can’t stop laughing. Like a bunch of Hannibal Lectors with squished up noses and foggy masks.

Can someone explain to me why the sound is muffled? I mean, we have the technology to produce very fine sound under masks. Were they intentionally going for this effect?
I won't ask for an explanation of any of the other things I can't understand about this.

I'm convinced the vocals are lip-synched. Watch this clip. The front of those masks should be extremely steamed up from singing and breathing.
In the ONE finale the vocals are so unenthusiastically dull. No excitement whatsover. Prerecorded?
The lack of orchestra doesn't help matters either. Sounds like piano, drums, and percussion. No horns or reeds.

Watch the "Gimme the ball"section. Richie is clearly lip-synching. Same with the "One rehearsal". Zach is lip-synching the words as well.

The finale costumes for the girls unintentionally create the illusion that they are naked from the waist down.

Yes it was. If you go to their YouTube page, they have promos for the show. It appears it ran two weeks ago.

I like it. It's like an alternative timeline and maybe Michael Bennett survives and Scandal opens and is a big hit and Treva Silverman gets a Tony. I like how Zach sounds like Misson Control back on earth. "Cassie, we have a problem."

In some shots you can see they have mics on but I agree that the non-fogginess seems odd. I suspect they maybe rerecorded the vocals after the fact because there's a suspicious lack of out-of-breathness. Which is fine, it's not a live show so use the tools available.
Nevertheless I always love seeing groups do the Montage 4 choreography ("Gimme The Ball" and the stuff around it). It's almost like the choreography itself is one of my favorite musical theatre songs. I know there are people that think Chorus Line shouldn't be slavishly recreated, but I feel like it's one show where the look is as much a part of the fabric as the words and music. I love seeing people do those steps in the same way I love hearing Morales sing "Nothing". Changing that choreography would be like writing a different melody for "Some Enchanted Evening" because we've heard that other one a thousand times. When they return to the line on the button of "Go to it", that image is as iconic as any song.
That said, I am so looking forward to the end of the era of digital pandemic theatre.
