Looks like Jan will get first billing. Kind of a slap in the face to Tony WINNER Victoria Clark. But Jan's been involved longer, though neither of them sell tickets.

ljay, while Vicki's a Tony winner, Jan should've won by now. And as you said, she's been with the production longer.
So sad to not see Vicki Clark in this. I bet she'll be amazing.

I'm sure the producers wanted more than anything for Bernadette to go to LA. But I think it's nice that she's fulfilling her concert engagements.
I do wish I could see Clark. Hopefully she starts from scratch and rebuilds her Sally. I know she has it in her. I thought her LOSING MY MIND was far more of a misfire than Bernadette's. Though Bernadette's can be hit-or-miss.

I finally was able to see the production in New York- my first time ever seeing Follies!- and I thought it was breathtaking, but Bernadette's performance was puzzling, to say the least. And vocally, at least the night I saw her, she did not seem comfortable with the score at all, though I did think "In Buddy's Eyes" was well done. I'm sure Clark will do a terrific job though, she's a great actress and her voice is stunning.
