That has been there for awhile (before it even opened) so I'm assuming that isn't the Vegas cast.
Edit: From what I heard they cut out Miss Baltimore Crabs, The Big Dollhouse, Good Morning Baltimore (reprise), and Cooties.
I think some of the songs are shortened too but I'm not sure which ones.

Amber and Velma's numbers have been cut, plus some other bits here and there.
Here is a link to a detailed article Broadway.com did on the whole issue. It goes detail-by-detail on what was trimmed/removed, et al.

Posted: 4/18/06 at 6:38pmIt is the Vegas cast. I see Austin Miller as Link Larkin. He is excellent in the part so see him if you get the chance.

Posted: 4/19/06 at 12:55amVegas Hairspray kicks Broadway's butt, IMO...i saw both productions days apart. The Vegas stage and theatre suits the show more, and the cut numbers (even though I hate cut shows) actually give the show so much more engery. The finale is not to be missed....the orchestra at the end is one of my favorite parts...and the confetti is around 10 times the amount there is on Bway...it's so fun!

Austin Miller is not over 30...his birthday is the day after Harvey Fierstein (different years of course!). It's June 7, 1979.
AND that is the Vegas cast in the trailer. BTW...Harvey is leaving soon and likely will never play Edna again, so if you're nearby, go see it.

Posted: 4/23/06 at 3:46pmIt doesn't matter to me how old Austin is or isn't. I think he is the best of all the Link Larkins I have seen and I have seen all of the NY Link Larkins. I hope he gets to play the role on Broadway.
