Looking for some advice. TDF has both Violet and Bullets over Broadway tix available, and I am wondering which show people prefer. I know it's comparing apples and oranges, but overall, if anyone has seen both, which would you recommend. Thanks in advance!

Violet. Hearing Joshua Henry sing "Let It Sing" is worth every cent.
Bullets, if you are looking for a big, splashy, fun show. Depends what you're looking for.
Violet has much better performances, and of course Joshua Henry SLAYS. He should have won the Tony for this performance. It closes soon, enjoy!
Violet. Hands down. Hated pretty much every aspect of Bullets.
I haven't seen Violet, but I have seen Bullets and I cannot recommend it at all.
Violet. I echo what everyone has said about Joshua Henry, and Sutton is giving her finest performance yet.
Thanks everyone - bought a ticket for Violet!

I enjoyed both very much but I think Violet is better theater.
I found Violet very touching, with great music and great performances by the cast, especially Sutton Foster and Joshua Henry.
I found Bullets overblown and obnoxious (and kind of vulgar) so I say go with Violet.
I haven't seen Bullets-not interested.
I pick Violet. Sutton Foster is lovely as ever, but Joshua Henry, holy crap. I didn't know who he was before I saw it. When he sings his big number, I just kept thinking, "wow," and I'm a tough one to impress. When he finished the whole theater erupted. He is on my radar now, I'll see anything he does.
Violet, hands down. I absolutely loved it and Sutton Foster, Joshua Henry, and Colin Donnell are all giving beautiful performances. Bullets is an overblown mess.

Saw Violet, not Bullets. Loved Violet, Sutton is perfect for the role and gives a great performance. Rest of cast is also excellent! Not much time left to see it!!!
Violet is glorious.
