Limewire used to work on my computer, but for some reason it won't anymore. 
It just constantly says it is connecting, but never connects...

Posted: 4/25/05 at 8:02pmOk if you have limewire, type in Stephanie J Block under ANY TYPE and if that doesnt work, search for Stephanie J Block under VIDEO. Found the Shosh one. Its 1-9-05 Defying Gravity. Search under VIDEO for Shoshana.

Posted: 4/26/05 at 4:19pmI found some live mp3s of Steph singing Defying Gravity and The Wizard and I on Bearshare, same place I found a whole bunch of Shoshana in Wicked stuff....in addition to just a lot of live Wicked stuff. Hope this piece of info helps someone out there. Steph does sound a little over the top - but I guess I'll find out when the tour hits Chicago.

What everyone is trying to say is that there in no known location for a posting of this clip, as of yet. You must either have a media-sharing program like Limewire or Bearshare. If you have a program such as this, follow the others' directions for searching. If you do not have this program, you must download it, and then follow the others' instructions.
Again, no one really knows of a website from which you can just "click" on the video and get it.

Posted: 4/26/05 at 7:10pmI just downloaded versions of "The Wizard and I" and "Defying Gravity" with Stephanie J. Block. Her voice is great!! But are these versions from a performance of the show? The quality of the vocals sounds like everyone is singing really closely into a handheld microphone... Are these from a concert version or something, or is it just poor quality?

Oh, my. I'm near the end of "Defying Gravity" and I'm liking Stephanie's voice less and less. She's yelling a lot. I mean, a LOT.
Oh, my God! She's definitely screaming worse than Idina Menzel! I'm not even joking. Is this really Stephanie??? Someone help me... She's hoarse and cracking on the final notes! It's so awful... At least when Idina screamed, she wasn't HOARSE. For some reason, I'm not thinking this is Stephanie.
And she's speaking/singing in this weird almost-accent, too. It's so bad!

Posted: 4/26/05 at 9:05pmI have those clips too of steph, they are taken from a rehearsal i think about 4 weeks before the show opened so a lot has changed. I know what u mean, but I also have some taken during the show and she sounds ALOT different (better)

I hope things have gotten better! She sounds absolutely atrocious! And that's no lie.

Posted: 4/27/05 at 1:35am...I just downloaded a clip from the tour... Is that REALLY what it sounds like? :-/ It sounds like this is just a preview from the tour. It sounds like there are...about 5 people applauding at the end. The music is really...different too. Also..Glinda has like NO expression at all. "let me go. do you hear. do you hear." It's kinda upsetting. Hopefully this was just from REALLY early in the show's stages..
