I was there tonight (5th row center) and I can't even begin to tell you how extremely emotional EVERYONE on that stage was. SOOOO many tears (from the last few songs/scenes to curtain call), especially from the ensemble ladies and gents. Janet was a watery-mess.

And then when Darren took center to say "Goodbye" and he pulled Janet to the middle I said to my friend: "Omigawd he's gonna propose" and at that same moment (as the video shows) Karen Mason was tugging on Kate Shindle's arm at the same sort of *PING!* lightbulb moment. Everyone in the cast seemed to figure it out before Janet (and then her hands went to her face and AAAAAAAA the crowd went nuts!!!!)

What a fairy-tale ending to a (sadly) premature closing.

Health and happiness to the fantastic couple!
