Jose', my point is that despite being analyzed half to death in their own time, The Beatles have had a pretty good afterlife. I don't see why Sondheim shouldn't be the same, on a smaller scale.
ETA- Ooh! "Gun Song"! And Patti LuPone in one of the few contexts in which I've actually like her, coming up.

The poor guy's been working for hours, but yeah, he has made an awful lot of mistakes. Is that him or the writing, though?
He was very funny before, urging the audience members to vacate their seats.
I swear this is like heaven 11hrs of Sondheim. I'm just in awe of the amazing performers they got (save a few bad performances, but eh can't all be perfect)
who's singing the Ballader part?
I'm assumming it Patrick Cassidy
but wow Ballad of Czolgosz is my favorite song from Assassins!!
i love Another National Anthem, Something Just Broke, and Everybodys Got the Right
maybe NPH
did he say the Ballad of "chug-walsh?"
Patti singing being alive?
It'll be great; she does it in concert. Keep listening.

NPH just sang from Evening Primrose but Patrick Cassidy has been singing the Balladeer in all the Assassins numbers... kinda weird that they don't trade off a little bit, but whatever
and how many songs has Michael Cerveris performed in the last 11 hours, lol? Just curious because I swear that he was already singing way more numbers than anyone else but on top of that he's covered for a bunch of people who dropped out...he's amazing, but I'm curious about how that ended up happening
Patti's voice is nothing short of amazing!
DAMN PATTI IS SOOOOOO GREAT! I'M DANCING IN MY CHAIR!
