Danielle Ferland?! I haven't heard of her since, well, ever. I just know her from the Into the Woods original cast/video. And boy, does she sound the SAME!
After waiting outside for six hours before being told it was unlikely anyone else would make it inside, I'm glad that there is an option to hear what is left of the concert.
Yes, I'm happy to be at home and listen to such clear sound. I can try and get stuff done while I don't miss a song. Most of this good enough that I just want to sit still and soak it all in.
Randy Graff still sounds good after all these years.
I've got the whole thing recorded so far, from 11 AM until now- close to 8 PM. It's not too tricky, you just need to set up your sound card to record from "What U Hear" or "Wave" instead of Microphone or Line In. Then any software will do. I personally have been using Sound Forge to record in 2-hour chunks and auto-convert and save as MP3. Otherwise the raw data of 12 hours would take up my whole hard drive. With good software like Forge, I'll wind up with the whole 12 hours in full quality, that can fit on 1 data CD.
If people are that interested, I'll just upload the whole thing to my web server once I get it all organized. I figure if it's a free concert being broadcast very freely on the street and online, it can't be too illegal to be sharing a recording with those who maybe didn't have 12 free hours today. If you're interested in downloading a few hundred megs of MP3 or streaming it Real Player-style, PM me so I know if it's worth the time and webspace.

Elaine can do no wrong. I do wonder if she is aware that she's telling the same stories again and again!
Was her Ladies Who Lunch up to her usual standard, or did this "ten year flu" hinder her performance? It was funny: waiting in line at Synphony Space they broadcast the radio from a speaker, but with all the street noise you couldn't really hear much of anything. You still knew when was Elaine was singing, as her rasping and gasping was still louder than the passing busses!
hey I know who this is! This Mackenzie girl, she left me absolutely speechless after hearing her sing in Lippa's "Little Princess" this past summer in CA. ridiculously strong pipes for a 15-yr-old.
