"My only problem was I took someone with me that had never seen the show and there were SO many "inside" jokes that they went WAY over her head. "
That was the best part about the show for me. They made it about the original cast and the people who've supported it from day one, who were truly upset to see Laura Bell go (aka NOT the bitches who badmouthed her for months and then decided to be upset once they saw how bad the reality show was), and made it a goodbye show for them to enjoy. Even Larry O'Keefe agreed afterward that it was like one big inside joke for the Blonde "family".
i was there! the show was so cute there were little things that were changed that made it really funny. after the show.. the stagedoor was CRAZYYYYYY. i swear they were gonna call the cops!
Kelly2, who are you referring to as the people who badmouthed LBB for months until just recently and now love her just because the reality show sucked? All the regulars I've seen (and yes, I have been often and know most of the regulars) have loved Laura Bell since the beginning, or at least since the beginning of this year, when I started going, and had nothing but amazing things to say about her, and this was before the whole reality show news was even out yet. I am just curious because again, all the regulars I know have adored her from the get go.
I was curious to know if there was any drama about rush tickets having been previously sold. When we walked past the theatre about 11:30, there were people all over the place. One of them had a sign that was all "We are camping out all night to get tickets for Laura Bell Bundy's last performance..." Part of me wanted to actually ask if they knew that the rush tickets had been sold, but my mom and sister convinced me not to.
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when that announcement happened...
Anyone know if there was drama over that?

LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!
There were a bunch of people at stage door and they were holding up a sign that said "The Overnight Crew." Could they be the people you were talking about?
I actually was thinking overnight crew meant people who fixed stuff up after the shows at night but then I was like...why would they be standing here, at stage door, with a giant poster...?
actually the overnight crew was the people who stayed there overnight waiting for the rush. i wasn't part of the overnight crew.. i was more part of the day crew haha.=P
on -the site- someone uploaded some highlights from Laura Bell's last show. Just look up 'Laura Bells Last Highlights'
You get to hear (in part 1) the minute long applause from LBB's entrance 'thank you Dequina' 'more than legally blonde...shame spiral' bit 'stretch it out ms woods' Orfeh's AMAZING Ireland reprise End of So Much Better
And there's also a part 2 where you can hear a bunch of stuff...such as the laughing from Laura kicking her leg up 30 times in a row before Bend and Snap haha
She got one of the strongest standing O's on her entrance I have ever seen. She (and other actors) changed names/lines here and there b/c it was their last show after a year & 1/2 together. She didn't forget. obviously.
