Hey Kelly2, you wrote before that one of the highlights of the night was "It's upscale..." but I don't remember that...care to explain exactly what happened for my apparently short term memory mind?

It was before "Take it Like a Man", when Christian was like "It's...beautiful.", and Laura was like "It's UPSCALE."
i agree with all of you, i was also at lauras last performance so sad to see her go. loved chrsitians bend and snap because you didnt know it was coming(plus the rest of the current cast and past cast were surprised). he also bent down when the store worker sprayed the love perfume and it went straight onto laura. she was tearing up too when everyone stood up during her entrance. the delta nus got an applause for each one during the opening number. lauras little dance before the bend and snap and tracys couldnt even say her lines and you saw asmeret and kate r laughing with her. stagedoor was packed, but the cast wasnt allowed to take pictures with us. it was the best legally blonde performance i went to and a performance that will stay with me forever. mike is nikkis boyfriend, the audience saw them kissing and went aww at one point. other current cast members there i saw michelle kittrell, gaelen gilland, beth curry i think or kate wetherland..all three were in the same box, plus rusty was in the box with them throguhout the show. jason patrick sands and noah weisberg. best of luck to natalie, paul, andy, and laura!!!! i am sad to see all of them go.
by the way they had a big cast after party last night.
Wow it seems like everyone had a great time. Now I really regret not going! LOL so there were no speeches at the end? I would have thought someone would have given a speech.
Last night was so awesome. :) Electric. And the whole world was there, practically the entire OBC. It was nice seeing everyone supporting Laura and Andy and NJJ like that.
I was at the show. I sat towards the back of the orchestra. WOW! It was incredible! Truly a special performance. To reiterate what everyone else said, the cast created some truly hilarious moments. Laura Bell was having fun, clowning around, and trying to hold back tears at the same time. I didn't want to take my eyes off of her, but the rest of the cast was on fire as well. I could not stop smiling the whole time. Orfeh's "Ireland" was killer. I loved Christian doing the bend and snap. Also, I liked how Laura Bell delivered some of her lines differently just to get a laugh, such as "Bruiser loves Battlestar Galactica!" and the ghetto-ish voice she used for the butthead joke...."Maybe not to yo face!" LBB's kicks during the dialogue before "Bend and Snap" were also great. I didn't think she would ever stop kicking. I saw Nikki Snelson and Heather Hach in the audience. Laura Bell's mother was also there of course.
After the curtain call, I was able to get out of the theater very quickly since I was sitting in the back of the orchestra section. People were running through the theater just to get there. The stagedoor was absolute chaos. I wish it would have been organized better. However, the cast was very sweet and tried to sign despite the mob of people. Laura Bell signed for many but made an early exit when her car came. The crowd poured out onto the street and around her car. It was crazy. Orfeh, Andy, Nicolette, and Natalie were very kind and they signed for everyone. Despite the crowd, Natalie and Andy also took pics with everyone. At one point, Andy was standing on his tip toes and leaning over a few people just so that he could take a picture with a fan! It was so chaotic. Plus, let me just say that I was stuck under a heating vent/exhaust the whole time. Combine that with the already hot weather and the body heat of hundreds of people huddled together and you get nasty nasty ridiculously hot heat! Andy even commented that he could barely breathe because it was so hot. To sum it up, it was insane but so worth it. I will miss LBB and I will never forget this performance!
i have not really posted on this site, but read it regularly for news and reviews.
i was at lbb's last show last night, right under the box that nikki snelson was sitting in.
the show was incredible- extremely energetic and electric. highlights for me included: lbb's entrance and her pulling tissue off of her shoe, the delta nu girls opening the show- they were glowing!, ireland- really powerful, "stretch it out miss woods" during what you want, bone cake!, christian's bend and snap, the whole bend and snap number and watching christian borle help carry the numbers when laura was overcome with emotion. "legally blonde" was really hard for her to get through, as was the graduation scene. overall really wonderful, they have much of which to be proud.
the other highlight for me was natalie- she was brilliant and seemed to be having a blast. the company will surely miss laura, andy and natalie.
this might be old news, and forgive me if it is, but i was wondering if it was announced who would be taking over as 'enid' now that NJJ is going to be in the touring company...?
Christian Borle used to come out and sign regularly when the show first opened, but I haven't seen him come out at stagedoor since like...a year ago, so...I'm gonna go with no.
"oh and its nice to know LBB can't remember character names or tell people of color apart..."
If you actually took 5 minutes to read the darn thread, you would've noticed that the whole Dequina situation was just a joke that Laura threw into the last performance.
