The merch lady told me the theatre will probably have it mid June.

I'm giving tdl83 the benefit of the doubt, but on the New CD releases thread, it is posted:
"It will definitely be recorded on May 5th and 6th by Time Life.. An announcement will finally be made this week." - 4/20/08.
And though the week is only about halfway over, I'm getting antsy...
What will come first...An announcement from Time/Life, or my "Evening Primrose" CD???

I’m really anxious for this CD also. I’ve been wanting a Patti/Gypsy recording since I heard she was doing the role at Ravinia. I live in CA and have not, and most likely will not have the chance to see her, but Patti as Rose is dream casting for me and this recording is the closest I’ll get to experiencing it.

This Gypsy sucks, it's so old I could blow on it and dust would come off of it. It's no different than every other Gypsy out there, just louder and with more (bad) vibrato.
Stay in Cali and go see an original show, or go to a museum, it's much the same thing as seeing Gypsy here.

It's a well-known fact that yours truly is completely devoted to both Miss Carol Channing and Miss Patti LuPone. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I would gladly lay down my life for either of them and kneel in homage before them when I meet them face-to-face. Peeople who've been with me when I've met these ladies will verify this.
Therefore, be very careful about what you say either directly or obliquely about either of them. One more snipe about Patti LuPone and I'll bitch slap you from here to the curb before smearing your face across the pavement.
