Tehehe CSI! Such a good show. I haven't seen it on TV in a loooong time though and I lent my DVDs to a friend. Maybe I'll look for it on TV tonight. Anyways yeah I'm always happy when someone brings back the thread. It's alot of fun and its our own little crazy haven of madness.
The Anthony thread shall live on FOREVER!!! Yeah can you tell I haven't slept much in a while? :-P

and CSI. I should be reading my Driver's Ed stuff. But I'm too tired. Okay got to do it. Damn.
Dream the picture of Adam that you're working on is awesome! It's really good. I also like the C&H.
If you didn't catch it they did the episode with the dead baby in the car who the parents thought had tasachs(I apologize for my bad spelling). Sad! Yeah. Sorry.

Ohhh yeah I saw that episode Race. That one was really sad. There are a few episodes that are just so sad. I don't know if you ever saw Gentle Gentle but that one....my God, I was crying by the end of that one. So ****ing sad. OK sorry, this is the Anthony thread...not the CSI thread.
And thanks for the compliments Race.
I need to finish that Adam one already so I can move on to a Mark one. providing I can find a good picture with fairly simple shadows and reflections so the whole shading thing doesn't kill me. :-P I got really lucky off the Roger pic with his Fender. Hopefully I can have the cast done by the time the movie comes out. But if anyone knows of some good cast shots of the OBC in character that'd be most helpful!

Ohhh thanks for the headsup! I've been trying to catch Anthony's Law and Order episode for ages now. "I must record!" *goes to find VCR user manual*
Yay, Race finally saw David Searching!! Now you know what I'm talking about when I go into a random ramble about it. :-P It really is a great movie. I'm a sucker for indipendent films to begin with but this one is still one of my favorites. I'm glad you liked it!
Hypertruffle- I haven't finished the picture yet, although I've been meaning to. I actually took my sketchbook to work today but I couldn't find a spare moment to sit and work on the thing. Quite vexing I must say. But providing this link works, here's a pic I took of the Adam pic a while ago. It's more worked on now and the quality sucks because of glare and it was a digital camera but you can see it. :-P

Hey!
I just got back from vacation so i've read the last pages just now.
About CSI: That rocks! I just don't like blood that much.
And I've seen A beautiful Mind yesterday. Not that much Anthony but I looove the whole story. Such a great movie. I love it!

CSI can be gory. I won't go into detail just because some of it is really disturbing, etc. But I agree. The blood can be gross. It's always fun and interesting.
I have the book of A Beautiful Mind somewhere. Both are good.

Yes, CSI is not for the faint of stomach or mind. :-P I've just learned not to eat before watching a new episode, just in case. It's still an extremely well written and intelligent show with a stellar cast. No matter how gory or weird, you have to give CSI kudos for creativity. 5 seasons later, 2-3 crimes per episode and I have yet to see one that remotely resembles another in storyline etc. Anyways yes that was my little CSI ramble for the day. And may I just say that as I type this, I happen to be wearing my oversized CSI: San Francisco shirt that I found near the Bay Area while on a trip there. :-P Talk about coincidence.
And yeah I love a Beautiful Mind. I'd always been intrigued by it but I admit the only reason I rented it was to see Anthony in it. But that is such an amazing movie. Was anyone else completely fooled into thinking all of John Nash's visions were real until he ends up in the psychiatric hospital? That shocked the hell out of me when they tell you in the movie. But one of my favorite movies, absolutely incredible in every aspect. I need to go find a copy of the book.

Posted: 8/20/05 at 1:37amI knew that Paul Bettany's character wasn't a real person. I was confused by the pentagon scenes. Those were more difficult to tell whether they were actual events or whether it was in his mind. I wasn't surprised. I was sad to see one of the scenes where Alicia is finding out about John's work was cut. I could see why, but still after thinking about it a second it was a good scene though.

Yeah I really thought it was all real. I was still thinking that when Parcher shows up by Nash's house. But are the Pentagon scenes real, where Nash is breaking the code and sees Parcher for the 1st time?
And CSI: The writers really ARE creative.. I always like the endings.

Posted: 8/20/05 at 8:25pmI think if I remember correctly the scenes with Parcher and the Pentagon were not real.

Ok, so this post is part bump (This thread will never die! I refuse to let it happen!) and part response to the whole David Searching topic. I, too, love love love this movie! I bought it without having ever seen it and I was not at all disappointed. It's just wonderful. Anthony and Camryn are amazing and the writing is absolutely superb. Two very enthusiastic thumbs way up!
Oh, and Mariel, thanks for the heads up on the LAw & Order thing. I'll be glued to my couch taping every second tonight. How could I miss one of my favorite actors in one of my favorite TV shows? It gets even better if it's an episode that BD Wong was in as well.

Looks like I'm posting after myself..oh well keeping the thread alive. Just wanted to post after seeing L&O. I spent the first twenty mintues muttering "where is he, where is he" then poof he appeared. I was scared his character Matt Spevak (funny name) actually had killed those ladies, so i was really surprised when he was killed. My brother walked in the room jsut as I saw it and I said sorta loudly, THEY KILLED HIM! he gave me a really weird look. Anyway. Bravo to Anthony for the performance- it was one of the few times I've watched L&O cause the show just makes me so sad. Anyway...who else watched it!?

Posted: 8/22/05 at 10:43pmI caught Law and Order tonight, too, and I have to say that I actually did enjoy it and would watch regularly... if it didn't mean watching regularly. Anthony gave a great performance, and even though I knew that his character was going to be killed, I was afraid that he really was the one behind the murders.
